In the run-up to the Great Victory Day celebrations, students of Years 7, 8 and 9 visited the Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation called ‘Patriot’ Park. The park’s name is no accident – everything within it is infused with patriotism. The students were shown examples of military equipment from different countries and learned a lot about the life and every day existence of the partisans, they also visited the ‘Partisan village’ which is located inside a forest. Everything in the park is so realistic that we were left with the feeling that we ourselves had been alive during those distant war years.
