Knowledge Day in CIS Russia was held on September 3. All our campuses were beautifully decorated for this special day. Flowers, balloons, smiles and amazing weather – we had it all. Our teachers did a great job performing dances and songs, delivering inspiring speeches and making the first day at school very positive and motivating. We would like to thank our parents for the support of our community, and also for your willingness to give your children the best that you can – a high-quality education. We congratulate everyone on the new school year and hope to see you all on the upcoming Cambridge Mile!

As a parent, you want your children to learn all that they can, to be curious about exploring the world, as well as learn how to read and write. Did you know that you can help your son or daughter academically by playing with them outside of school?

The University of Cambridge has over 100 libraries. The central library alone (the Cambridge University library, or the ‘UL’) has approximately 8 million volumes, and is able to request a free copy of every book published in the UK and Ireland.
One book in the CIS Festivalnaya library that I recommend is The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis.
