On Tuesday February 18, the Year 2 class went with Ms. Ruveyda, Ms. Ludmila and Mr. Ali to the Retro Auto Museum. The class has been learning about Transport in History classes and went to see the different types of vehicles from the very first cars, to modern day sports cars. There were also bicycles, motorbikes and childrens’ toys at the museum and a very big collection of model toys! It was a very interesting trip and we recommend that you go and visit it too!
During the first quarter of the PSHE lessons, we worked together with high school students to study the sphere of human life values and its influence on the future profession.
The children have settled into Year 1 and are working hard. We have also looked at the stories ‘Duck in a Truck’ and ‘Fix It Duck’ both by Jez Alborough.
After the first school week, our pupils started preparing home projects on literature, on different projects.
This term in 6D, our Science topic as been Forces. We have been learning about forces, motion and air-resistance and have been investigating how surface area affects air-resistance.
