This week in Nursery we have been celebrating book week. We focused on the book Aliens who love underpants. Through the story we learnt about some very silly aliens who like to take other peoples underwear. They particularly liked to take underwear that had patterns such as stripes, spots and squares.
The children had great fun creating their own underwear for the aliens. They were given a range of paint to choose from and were shown how to create different patterns. They had lots of fun during this activity and created some excellent pieces of underwear. There were also other fun activities that the children could participate in such as play dough alien modeling and playing the matching underwear game. Everybody really enjoyed the book week celebrations!
It seems like not long ago our students only
started their first steps in fencing. In these
two terms, students learned the basics of this
noble sport – attacking and defending four
quadrants, footwork and referee commands
