Experience:
I have worked in the film and advertising industry, as well as in teaching roles in various educational settings. While completing my MA I worked in editing and curating art projects as part of an Art residency programme in London, UK. I have worked as an assistant teacher for the Film studies subject for the University. Additionally, I have experience in teaching Photojournalism and Documentary. Right after completing my BA in Visual Arts, I worked as an assistant director for films and TV commercials, as well as a drawer for 2D animated films. I also have worked as a freelance artist and developed projects in editing and directing for both artistic and commercial purposes, including photography, filming and editing adverts and videos. I have received an award for best animation in short film festivals in Bogota, Colombia, participation awards in Zagreb Croatia, and Lleida Spain; and an award for best music video made for the Norwegian band Röyksopp. Since moving on to international teaching I have taught Visual Arts for the MYP & IBDP programme and have been CAS coordinator. I have also taught IGCSE and GCSE Art & Design, IGCSE Global perspectives, A-Level Art, and AS & A-Level Media Studies. I am passionate about education and I am committed to help students explore their creative potential
