Letter from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

It is a glorious Springtime here in Moscow with everything turning beautifully green and the children have been enjoying the opportunity to use our lovely grounds to extend their learning and also play in the lovely sunshine.

We would encourage that you send the children in with a suitable sun hat so they can fully enjoy the weather safely.

Some of the children are getting excited about the FIFA Football World Cup  and have enjoyed doing some work on this special event that is lucky to be hosted here in Russia.

Both Key Stages are working hard in class and with their rehearsals for the End of Year Concert which is on Saturday 2nd June for Years 2 up and on the 24th and 25th May for the youngest children.

Please remember that we have a transition meeting for the parents of children moving from Year 2 to Year 3 next Thursday, 24th May in the Junior hall at 1600, it will be lovely to see as many as you as possible there, if you can’t make it then please talk to your child’s class teacher and they can give you a summary.

We would encourage you to continue to let teachers know if your children are ill and keep up the good attendance and punctuality right to the end of term!

I look forward to seeing and meeting as many of you as possible at the Concerts.

Best wishes
Mr Tim Aviss
