Letter from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

What a change!

Spring is here and the weather has been really great. As a result of the change we would ask that the children have sun hats eg a baseball hat, for when it is sunny please.

Lots of fun and interesting things have been going on in school, with classes visiting the Victory Day museum, a very worthwhile educational trip which helps to explain the upcoming holiday and also teach the children about a very important global event and the crucial role Russia played in it. As well as that I know the children enjoyed finding out about another important World event on the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s historic mission on April 12th.

As well as these important events all the usual learning opportunities have been taking place across the school.

All of that and Family Art Day! It was nice seeing so many people at this event and to see so many interesting pieces of Art.

Don’t forget that there is a holiday from 30th April until 4th May with school reopening on the 7th May, and then there is the Victory Day holiday on 9th May.

Best wishes
Mr Tim Aviss
