The teaching staff at CIS run a variety of activities that enable children to experience tasks not necessarily covered in the daily curriculum.
These activities are open to all children and are run after school every day. Children are encouraged to sign up for at least one activity per term, but may choose two and more.
Children generally sign up for one term and have the opportunity to select from a range of activities, such as: Art, music, dance, drama, scrabble and chess clubs
The opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, including flute, piano, violin and guitar;
School trips organised to the museums and different places according to the curriculum;
Spanish, French, Italian and German lessons clubs
Some activities do incur a cost; children are informed of the details prior to the commencement of the ASA. ASA’s are held both on and off campus.
